02:02 pm: lots of fun times lately

my parents are out of town, so i've been staying with elise...she's crazy. and she can't remember her own mom's name. we've watched several movies...the virgin suicides was very very good...different, but good. and the forgotten...man, for a stupid movie about aliens, it sure did freak us out at times. and it made us laugh at the same time...woo.

alex and i saw mr and mrs smith the other day...yeah...good movie...

tomorrow alex and i leave for florida. i can't wait! even though there have been two shark attacks near where our condo is...so that's kinda icky...but i think i can kick some shark butt if i have to.

speaking of sharks...we went to ballard park the other night and watched a shark tale. cute cute movie. and the whole movie in the park thing was lots of fun. i can't wait until the next one :)

i have to work tonight...i absolutely love my job...but i don't feel like going in tonight..bleh..i need to pack.

michael makes my job even more fun than it is. yes. he is awesome. and for being so awesome (and just because we work there) we each got a free pair of jeans...score!

and because of a cd that michael made me...i am now thoroughly obsessed with anna nalick. oh my gosh. she is freakin awesome. breathe (2 AM) is my favorite...

spring break was the best! i wish it was still going on. friday, alex and i went to florence to kayak with his cousin and his fiance. it was SO much fun! his family is great. and it was a gorgeous day :)

i got a job! *excitement* i need it!

i need a tan...

senior projects suck. i am the biggest procrastinator in the world. and most of the stuff we have to do is just really stupid...and time consuming.

alex's cell phone sucks. he has a nail for an antenna. seriously.

only a few more weeks of being in high school. YESSSSSSSSSA!

still obsessed with the jack johnson cd.

everyone pray for clay and his family.

next weekend...friday night is coppelia and saturday night is prom. i'm going to be exhausted. i'm excited about prom though! the 7 or 8 couples that we're going with are going to be a ton of fun. and elise is one of the people going :) yay!

suddenly discovering that alex's satellite is hooked up...and unbeknownst to him, that it has been for a while... is great fun.

i'm ready for the summer. lots of alex time.

cami tried to be a water fountain the other day...it didn't really work out.

alex and lane suck at puzzles.

talk about spur of the moment...my mom came in my room and woke me up at nine to tell me that she and my stepdad just decided to go to destin...right then...she left five minutes after that.

my brother and his girls....hahahahahahaha he keeps me entertained.

Another great great weekend. Lots of great Alex time.

Alex went to the mall with me to look for a formal for prom. :) I found a pretty pretty black satin one...but not in my size :( It was still fun trying all of those dresses on.

We went out to eat with his grandfather today. Saw Lane and Celeste when we picked him up from the church. Cold wind. Bonanza was fun. The spoons were hot. Alex was hot.

I think Mexican restaurants put something in their food that makes you extra extra extra full.

So apparently Alex think that milk comes in "batches" just like cookies. He told me that he would have offered me some milk...but they got a "bad batch"...hmmm...

Alex started saying "Goodness" all the time because of me. And "Money".

It seems like everyone's mom is sick. No fun.

Spring break needs to hurry up and get here. Like right now.

I hate that Tupelo has to go to school tomorrow and practically everybody else gets to stay home and celebrate presidents.

Alex made me watch The Rundown. I made him watch High Crimes. Good trade.

Tomorrow night is going to be filled with tons of junk food, pajamas, my favorite cd, and sappy movies.

I saw Office Space for the first time this weekend. Loved it. Made me want a cubicle. Not really.

12:38 pm: Longest week ever.

Yesterday made it all better though. Alex and I celebrated Valentines Day since we can't see each other Monday I'm listening to one of the super sweet cd's he made me right now...mmm...it's the best. He also got me a cute little teddy bear that is now my sleeping buddy...and two of my favorite movies...Love Actually and The Notebook. AND he watched part of The Notebook with me. THAT'S what I call a great boyfriend. Definitely the best Valentines Day ever. Ever ever ever. I didn't want it to end. I don't want him to leave today...

Elise and I are going to hang out tomorrow night and be sappy and depressed together.

Tennyson is one of my favorite poets ever. Wow.

Charity Ball was fun...Getting all dressed up is always great. Everyone looked gorgeous!

Another great weekend. Lots of Alex time  Lots of O.C. time...since Alex has a newfound obsession with that show.

In Good Company is a good movie...mmhmm...Topher Grace cracks me up.

Saturday night, Elise and I played Dream Phone. Alex wouldn't play with us. Boo. It was tons o' fun. The phone reminds me of Zack Morris's phone on Saved by the Bell. We each won one game...so we need to have a play off. Although I don't know if you could technically call that winning...because we always ended up getting the weirdest guys on the board...gahh...I bet Alex would have kicked some butt if he had played. Next weekend...  yes, Alex, you will play Dream Phone. Or Mall Madness. Your pick.

This weekend=great. The show was awesome! Monday in London and Rookie of the Year rocked my socks off. Seriously. They were amazing!

Then...Saturday morning I had a GREAT surprise waiting for me at my front door...ALEX! :) He decided to come home for the weekend!

Today we went to Tombigbee and played Disc Golf. We got there right when Amanda and Seth were leaving :( It was a lot of fun though! It was a gorgeous day.

Elisey poo is good with words. And I'm good at giving massages. We make a good team.

11:12 pm: Last week was friggin awesome. Lots of Lyndie, Wyatt, and Jake time. Especially lots of Lyndie time. Ohhh how I love her <3

Uptown Coffee is officially my favorite hangout place ever. I was there every night last week. Sad...yes. But fun.

Got to hang out with my two ex-step-brothers (Jake and Caleb) Friday night. Fun times reminiscing...

I left for Hickmon County, Tennessee yesterday morning at 8 o'clock. We have absolutely no cell phone service up there...so I was lonely :( So here's the scenario: I stayed at our family's house...five people...one bathroom...not fun. The house is in the middle of nowhere...you have to drive 45 minutes to even get to a Wal-Mart. Thank goodness for the one tv that we have and the DirecTV. My Saturday consisted of:

1) How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
2) Two Weeks Notice
3) Daredevil
4) Big Momma's House
5) Remember the Titans

Yayuh.

Today I was woken up at 4:45 by my brother and my dad getting ready to hunt. Couldn't get back to sleep...bleh...Went to my Aunt Jewell's house for our family's Christmas get together. Soo great...as usual. I love that side of my family. They crack me up. Especially my Great Uncle Billy...He talks just like Boomhauer from King of the Hill. Plus, half of one of his ears was bitten off by a horse a few years ago. He has the best stories ever.

I've missed Days of Our Lives so much...*tear*...

It's finally starting to feel like Christmas! It was snowing in Tennessee this morning when I woke up. I LOVE snow. It's supposed to be 7° up there tomorrow morning...brrrrr...

Working at the Salvation Army Friday was great. Elise and Kaley were there...we got to wheel bikes around and drink coca-cola C2's, which taste surprisingly like cinnamon as Kaley pointed out. It was fun handing out all the toys. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :)

Christmas shopping tomorrow. Wish me luck.

I got a disco ball while playing Dirty Santa with my family today. Woo. It's too awesome for words.

I need a job.

Sorry I missed the FTM show and open mic night :( Wish I could have been in both places.

My brother is obsessed with Christmas movies and Christmas music. And I don't mean classic Christmas movies like Miracle on 34th St or It's a Wonderful Life. The other night, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer came on...he was glued to the TV. Seriously, he wouldn't even blink. It was hilarious. Then he saw that Frosty the Snowman was coming on...he got all giddy.

People are fun.

08:25 pm: lauren's week:

1. a huge tree limb fell in my driveway and dented my car. yay. stupid storm. now the side of my car smells all natural.

2. tonight i was hanging out with my brother, stepsister, and her boyfriend. my brother says "yeah, i haven't gotten around to burying smokey (our dog) yet...he's in the freezer at dad's house"...smokey died in MAY!!! wtf??? that's my brother. he also has squirrel carcasses duct-taped to his bedroom wall. gotta love him.

3. hung out with tami, kenny, mike and some other folks monday night...we colored in great big huge disney coloring books and watched beauty and the beast! by far the best night of my week. we had fun retreating to our childhood.

4. today, i listened to a speech that my english teacher gave us...it really got to me. it was about every single person's death having some impact on every person, whether they know it or not. i love my english teacher...mr. ward is the absolute best. my favorite teacher ever.

5. recited "sonar lo imposible sonar" (to dream the impossible dream) in spanish...i love that poem/song.

6. hung out with cami and clark downtown. mmm fun. discovered that i say "what" wayyy too much.

7. watched my nutcracker video about a million times.

8. cleaned cleaned cleaned (my mom and stepdad are having a "redneck martini party" at our house tomorrow night for some people from their church...they borrowed decorations from who other than my brother!)

9. wore my cool crayon-colored shoes...designed by kenny.

10. had an interesting experience with pizza hut. we called at 6:00 the other night and ordered. at ten til eight, my mom called. the same lady answered, put her on hold about three times, asked for the name, address, etc. and was like "yo pizza should be on the way." at 8:30, when the pizza still had not arrived, my mom called AGAIN and a guy answered and looked in the computer and said, "and you're sure you ordered this pizza today?"...my mom said "YES! and i called a little while ago and the girl said it was on its way." my mom hears the guy yell out to the workers "did anyone take an order for lynn circle?" then she heard the girl worker respond "i don't know no lynn circle." he then says "the last name is Anger"...she says "what kind of a name is THAT?" the guy gets back on the phone and says "it will be there in about 45 minutes." mom hangs up, talks to us about it, gets pissed, and calls back to tell them to cancel the order. she hears the lady call out "cancel the order for Englewood Dr.!!!"...my mom says "NO! cancel the order for ANGER!!! don't screw someone else's order up like you did mine!!!" the lady "ok, bye." wow...it's apparent they didn't have to take an IQ test to get a job there.

This weekend was simply amazing...

My last Nutcracker. *sigh* I loved it. I actually had one of the main solos...it was fun to be in the spotlight for once :P It was really sad at the same time, though...I've been in the Nutcracker with these girls every year for the past 13 years...and this was my last one...lots of tears...I'm going to miss it soooo much.

A lot of my friends came to see me...that meant the world to me. Thanks soooo much! :) You guys are the best!
